Who stole my BTA ?!?!?!?!?

He's gone,...nowhere to be found !!! I have looked EVERYWHERE. He is just plain gone !!! Water params are all perfect. He crawled under a rock about a week ago and has not come out. I looked underneath it and he was not there. The powerheads are not close enough for him to get in to, but I can't find him !!!
Has anyone seen him ?

when my bta does 'his stuff' and retracts, sometimes he shrivels into a tiny tiny ball... he stretches about 8 inches back into a cave and sometimes I cant even see him when he does it...

Never thought to look "IN" the sand.
The way my rock is setup, in the front a rock is set up as a cave. The shrimp hide there and the firefish sleep there. He went back in there and for a couple of days I could see him. Then gone. He was on a reversed clock and would open at about 630pm (a couple of hours before lights out). Then he would close up around 745am.
I will keep looking but I fear he has gone. My clowns didn't like him anyway, but I did !!! Does anyone have the number for John Walsh. It has been more then 48 hours so technically he is a missing "person".

Mike! What's going on?!?!?!?! You're brand new anemone?
Well, he didn't just crawl out of the tank...he HAS to be in there somewhere....
He just moved someplace where you can't see him... They shrink up to fit in some pretty tight places...
He's bound to show up sometime...

I had a condi that stretched to the size of a plate that waited til we left home for two days and then disappeared. We never found ANY sign of it anywhere, rocks, sand, skimmer, filters nowhere, not even a blob. It's been over 2 months. Maybe your bta ran off with my condi. Sorry, and I hope yours is just hiding

I hope he is hiding REALLY well too. I gave him a piece of shrimp one day and after about 1.5 hours the shrimp "disappeared" so I figure he ate it....that was 8 days ago. I am missing a firefish that didn't survive the transition to my tank, so I hope he got a piece of that told hold him over. I went out a bought a nice piece of $2.98/# squid for him, and this is the thanks I get !!! :D
Sooner or later I figure I'll get some sign of him. Either a view or some rising levels. A decaying fish (the firefish) should have increased ammonia, so for now I'm going on the firefish died and the BTA found him.
And, thanks to Buzz being a weiner and not shipping his BTA and tomato, my wife has made me go buy ANOTHER tank so SHE can have a BTA and Tomato "just like Buzz" as she puts it. Just wait Buzz, you'll see,...give the new marriage a couple of "growing phases". And BTW, I know it's late, but congrats.
:D :D :D

Well, I didn't have any real bites on my set up, so I decided to just keep it...sorry!
:p
My happy "little" BTA is staying right where it is...until I can upgrade the tank at some point....
