well, the great tang debate is on again, maybe,
chevron, it is my understanding that you used to (until recently) have a larger tank, and now you have moved(or the tank has moved), and so is this the temmporary situation?, until you get a bigger tank for your fishes?? i dunno if this is the case or not, but i do believe from being around here, that you knew better than that(so i will not preach), however if this is the case, and all you have for now is the tank in question, then by all means, if you are sooon getting a larger tank, keep one, but if the case is that you are not getting another tank, then get different fish please,
i knwow you know about tangs, you have if nothing else witnessed the persicusion here for it(and at the store you worked for, so you should know, and i would give the benefit of the doubt here),
IMO, tangs need the room to swim and play, more than they need it to grow, so no matter the case, get tehm a bigger home soon(whether it is you getting it for them, or putting them up for adoption)
as for your question the other fish are about 15 or 17 inches of fish, so i would not add more than them(this number being figured as adult, and without the tangs), but like you said, the tangs are in THIS tank temporarily, so in time(short hopefully) you will more than likely find them more suitable quarters

Well, I have another question for the Tang debate. I have a Blonde Naso and a Yellow Tang in a 55gal. The Yellow is about medium, but the Naso is smaller. Is the 55 too small for the two of them? The only other fish in there are 3 small damsels, and it is mostly a FO tank with only about 20lbs of LR. So they do have the extra room. They seem to be happy.

Hey Blonde Naso.
In Clwtr huh. Me too.
What LFS do you visit?
IMO I would say that the 55 will be too small for the Naso when he grows up. They can get huge. 20" or so. He wouldn't be able to turn around in a 55g

Hey Salty James,
I am from Clearwater, but I go to school at UF so I live up in Gainesville. When I'm in Clearwater I usually go to Exotic Aquatics on Maine St. I really like that place. I also hear that there is a place in Tapon that is good too. Have you ever been to the Tamps Bay Saltwater place in Tampa where the aquaculture LR??

Yeah Man, That Saltwater Place in Tampa is awesome.I got great LR with corals & sponges etc.. Got the guy down to $3.50lb.
Yeah Exotic Aquatics is a great place the selection is awesome. The only gripe I have is
the contradicting information they give. But that is true with all opinions. (and the $$)
Great to meet a neighbor!
Smile :)

I heard sometimes you get a mantis tagging along with their LR. Did you get anywith yours? I am going to be home nest week and want to check the place out. It's on Dale Mabery right?
Pleasure to meet a fellow Cleatwatrian too! :)

Hi,
Yep when I got the rock there was a mantis, but I took him out. Have not seen anymore though.
Great place and cheap too. It is on Hillsboro not
Dale Maybury. Take Veterans north to Hillsboro go east and it will be on the left. 3171 West Hillsoboro I think.
They are on the net with all of the information.
Take Care :)

your right fshhub i did have a larger tank at one time and this is only temporary until i can get the money together to get a larger one.
