False are calmer, True have more personality and brighter colors. Depends on what kind of tank you want!

I like maroons better than either, but I would say true perc. as my falsies have always seemed a little...well...lame. (bunch of pansies)
Hever had a true perc., but may trade my falsies in one of these days.
