Who uses double-ended HQI halides?

Just curious. They're always talked about over a -- and are used by a number of people there but I've actually never even seen them mentioned here except in my posts and I'm the only one I know of here that uses them.
Anyone else use them? Or are you all sworn to you moguls.

I am not hooked on moguls, but I've already got the ballasts and sockets and such. A little expensive to change over. I have heard good things about the output of the HQI's but I also see everything in my tank thriving, so I see no need to change. Maybe if I get another tank...

I agree about the color, I'm not a fan of ANY 10k bulb's color actually. Thats why I use a 20k HQI. I love the color, although I'm afraid I'll have to change the bulb to a 10k when my crocea gets bigger and more light dependant. I don't think 20ks give off enough PAR for an adult crocea.
Your tank looks a lot better under the radiums than the 10k IMO(saw the thread on --).
One more thing, KEEP YOUR @$$ TO YOURSELF!!!!!!
