I got curious because i read on the bucket and it said #1 sea salt and i was wondering how many people on here actually use it. I know i use it. And i have always loved it! My dad even used it since he had his tanks in the early 90s. VOTE please

I honestly think it's the #1 brand because it's available EVERYWHERE.
personally, I don't like it for reef tanks.

I am still buying my water at the LFS, both RO/DI for topoffs and premixed salt. They changed from IO to Aquavitro about 2 months ago.
The only difference I can tell is with IO, I kept wondering when my coralline would take off.
With the Aquavitro, I whine MAKE IT STOP!!!!...its everywhere...

I so agree, the PH is 8.0...When I went to change, I got some oceananic or something like that...next time I went to buy I couldn't find it and had to get IO because that was all they had and all the stock now.

Funny you mentioned about the coraline.
Ive had nothing but green since Ive started this hobby. I just switched to RC anam currently 3 water changes into it (10% each) and all of a sudden pink/purple splotches started showing up on my back glass and side glass all over. Moving in the right direction all of a sudden.

I've used Reef Crystals, Seachem, and currently Oceanic and havn't noticed a significant difference in my tank. We use Instant Ocean in the tank at Penn State.

Coralife here. $37 usually from Petsmart, can't beat it for the price. Usually it's a bit high in supplements, and that's why Coralife usually clouds, with high calcium you'll need to slowlllly mix the salt in..
And free t-shirts! (tho the included men's XL's are too short for me).

LOl... I use to use coralife back in the day for the t shirts. Didn't know they still did that. Kinda like when I was a kid Tide use to put little cheap cars in the laundry detergent!!!!

I used Coralife for a long time and was never unhappy with it.
I don't like SeaChem salt, but the upper brand of AquaVitro is really nice.
