Hole in the Head isn't really a disease. Common also with freshwater Discus, many experts believe it is brought on by poor diet and/or water parameters. If your fish has HLLE you need to check all your water parameters and vary your diet. Its not going to go away with any kind of medicine if your water isn't good or your diet is poor. What kind of fish is this? Make sure all fish get their veggies and make sure angels get their sponges. Soak your food in Zoe or Selcon.
Minor cases will kind of fill in and return to normal. Many serious cases can be treated but the fish will never look the same again!

it's a emporer angel and i got him from a guy that works for the pet store. someone brought him in about 2 months ago. they stopped it and gave to me for $20. cant beat that. he is worth the time and effort. my water if fine. i just didnt want him at the store with no good light and no other fish to swim with. he is about 8 inches and was in a 25 gallon tank........go figure. i just hope he will do well. they have a blue face that i can get for the same price. he is smaller and not as bad. i think he can return to normal. very pretty fish. i will have to wait until next week. my 29 is being set up. i will put him there until i get another big tank
