Who's been to Aruba?

I spent 3 days in Aruba, back in 90, or 91. It was nice, but I wasn't that impressed. It's not that big of an Island, and if I remember correctly, it is a Dutch province, so everyone was European. The main city was nice and upscale, with some nice casino's, but it wasn't very big. There were some nice hotels, but not a whole lot. The landscape I remember being sorta like Mexico. I'm sure there was more to do, but I spent the majority of the time on the topless beaches, drinking Banana daqueries and enjoying the view. I never will forget this tall blonde, wearing only a shoestring....she had two of the most beautiful, enormous, round.......:nervous: ....brown..........:nervous: ...eyes.
Anyway, I liked Caricao...which is an Island over, better. My favorite is St. Thomas though.

Its changed a lot over the past several years. I have heard about the topless beach at the Rennisance.
Wow, big brown eyes? That could have been me

We aren't looking to do too much really. The water is the main attraction for me in Aruba. It looks like a little slice of heaven.
What about St. Thomas do you like and where did you stay?

Yeah, this was 14 years ago, and the memories of a young 20 year old. Now, sure, it would be a great place to go, especially for a couple. I personally liked St. Thomas, because everything was "Americanized", yet I was in a tropical paradise. I had never experienced anything like that. I felt like I was in a post card. I've also been to Puerto Rica, Cuba, Bermuda, Granada, St. Martin, Columbia, Panama (been through the Panama Canal 10 times), Costa Rica, skipped over the equator, and came about within 100 miles frome Hawaii (Ironic, I know)...I was stationed in Charleston, S.C.....Now I'm ready to re-up.....:D
