TeresaQ very nice! Do you grow any orchids besides Nuns and the Phalaenopsis? I've got a white pretty similar to yours, and the silly thing has been in constant bloom since last year. I've been going to repot it twice, and every time I get ready, it sends out new buds ~ guess I'll just leave it alone.
Heres a pic.

Here's my latest lady slipper, though I have to fess to having just purchased this one! Couldn't resist the coloration.

As for my nuns, I don't know, hope it eventually blooms and looks as good as yours, but definitely not going to happen this year. Thanks for the pics.

havent really done much outside but I can show you some of the (run of the mill) flowers that are coming up. there are a lot more still dormant or not big enough yet (have about 600+ daylilies they wont bloom for a while). going to be doing a lot of landscaping this year (only bought this house last year) so there is a bunch of stuff to do.

Nice pics. I hear you ~ I've been in mine for about 9 years now, and still have a ton of landscaping to do.

My hosta are coming up. That is about it though. I got my toad lillies planted. I hope to plant all my flower beds this year with plants that have frog or toad names. so far all I have is toad lilly.
I did get a jump on my garden the other day finally and got the rest of my onions in. I also got my cabbage and Kolabri planted. Couple more weeks and hoepfully i can get the rest of the stuff in.

Nice; plums, crab apple, and/or nanking cherry blossoms?
I'm not sure what the 1st one is, it was here when we bought the house. The 2nd is a crab apple and the last is a patio peach tree.

Its been in the 80's here all week. Heavenly! Its dark now, so I cant take any pics! I've been raking out the garden beds and lawn. Everything is coming up. Packisandra is plumping back up, tulips, dafodils, plumenaria, hostas. My bloodroot is flowering. I really like that one. I'll try and post a pic tomorrow. Its a white flower during the day, and it has a big leaf tha curls around it in the evening. If we have alot of gardeners, we should arrange for a plant swap. Frag a flower, lol!

Sounds good to me ~ but we may have to post a new thread in order to get the idea across (and it may well be September before I have anything to trade at this rate).

Man do I love spring! Freezing rain, snow and killing frost all in 24 hours. Coal stove is still running 24/7. Could smack Dennis upside the head for saying that Spring has finally come to Wyoming
! Here's mine taken this morning.

Fortunately for me, the orchids are still coming on.

At least they know its spring! Somebody needs to inform Mother Nature that its the end of April and we in Wyoming are SICK OF THE SNOW
!
