The blue spotted jawfish is said to be a rare fish, rarer than the yellow head you saw at your LFS for $12, who knows? It does not require a 90 gallon tank, an LFS in my area where I worked for a year and a half has had one in an eclipse 12 for close to a year now with no problems, the lfs sells them for $200, they havent sold a single one :) Its requirements are like any other fish, except for the fact that they need a larger grain substrate in which to burrow, and they may not even need that, I have a convict gobie that has similar behavior to a jawfish and it does fine with my fine sand bed. It has burrowed under all my live rock and has been with me for close to a year now. I really like the blue spot, but I could find a few frags to spend $100 on rather than a fish :) HTH

Hello, it's nice to see the price start to come down on this little guy, maybe someday they will be a little more affordable.

i think they (meaning someone other than me) should breed them at a farm or something. to bring down the price.
