why are my mushrooms all bunched up??

can anyone tell my why my shrooms don't spread out flat and open?
They used to..
I think as new ones grow it's as if tehre moving out of the way.
Should i frag all the bigger ones out of the way?
Or is it just to much flow?

they could be in the process of splitting...mushrooms tend to 'frill up' when they split. mine did it too.

Has the flow pattern changed? They tend to curl up when subjected to too much flow.

when they were first in the tank with no powerhead they seemed to be much flatter. so that's why i thought it was flow because now that i have a powerhead they curl up.
Should i move them?

yes mushrooms pretty much require low flow to keep from folding up.
