why are there so many bubbles in my fuge? If the caulerpa is producing oxygen, I wouldn't expect it to be actual bubbles. They are on the plants, on the sand, even on the crab. Plus I get a lot of green hair in the fuge, but not in the main tank. I did a search here and everyones fuge was so clean. My looks like a swamp after about a week. Is this normal? should I have a clean up crew in the fuge?
Any info on fuge's would be great. matt:notsure:

My fuge is about 2 weeks old and I too have bunches of bubbles in it. I am looking forward to replies to your post.
I am also getting some green algae in the fuge but not in the main tank. Guess that's what it's for though.

I thought the bubbles were from the sand. during set up. I kept stirring it and they never went away, then the hair algea got out of control, so last weekend i gutted the whole thing cleaned it and put new sand in it. the bubbles are back, so I guess this time I'll just wait and see. matt
