If I click IMG and put a link of a pic (like I always do) the pic is showing up as a link instead. Any ideas??

Also, your pictures need to be gif, jpg, png, and bmp's. They cannot exceed 100kb and one last thing, they cannot exceed 500x500 pixels.

I did as you suggested and it still doesn't work. At the bottom it says "IMG code off". Is that a site setting or can I change it? I've looked all over and read the FAQs.
 :notsure:

Now the maximum size is 125,000 bytes. This is 125k. When you right click on the file and go to properties make sure there is nothing that is over 125kb. Test it out with an image that you know is really small and fits within the criteria this message board has set.
My settings are as follows
Automatically parse URL's is checked
Disable Smiles in This Post is NOT checked
HTML code is OFF
vB code is ON
Smiles are ON
IMG code is OFF
After you attempt to attach a picture you know is within the limitations of the forum, look to see if it gives you an error of some sort. (That is if it still doesnt allow you to post a picture)
Testing another pic...

With all the settings in the above post I just clicked on browse and double clicked on the pic I wanted posted. Clicked Submit Reply and it worked. I can't think of anything else that would be preventing you from uploading pictures.
Maybe you're trying to cut it too close with image size..
You have a 500x500 picture but the forum thinks it is 501x501?
Your picture "was" 100kb but when translated 100kb is equal to 100 X 1024bytes...If you dont understand this, don't worry. Just make sure the picture is definately below the required size.
I HTH.

Yay!! It worked.
OK, the problem I had was I would go to attach the file then I would hit preview. In preview the picture wouldn't show up so I hit submit and here it is.
Thanks all for the help! :joy:

You need a photo program on you computer that will do it or if you have PAINT then try to do it with the strech/skew
