Why can I not find a 30 inch T5 lighting fixture?

i dono if anyone has mentioned it yet, but coralife makes 30" 2x18 T5 fixtures
i have one and i love it

i would just go with a retrofit kit of T5s with individual reflectors in the 24" size and build a canopy for it

I was referring to 1 watt of T5 lighting being = to 2.6 watts of pc lightting... Is this really true?
