Why can't I keep a cleaner shrimp?

Well, Well, I wouldn't doubt that the CBS could have pulled a 187 on my cleaner....The last time I saw it it was chillen on a rock not far from the CBS....and the Coral Banded comes out at night......and creepily cruises around rockwork...probally lookin for it's next victim....looks like it's gonna have to get re-located to another tank before I attempt another cleaner.....I'd rather have the cleaner than the CBS....I'[m not sacrificing a $30 dollar cleaner for my $8 dollar coral banded...

CBS will eat molting cleaner shrimp. Cleaner shrimp don't need drip acclimation, just add tank water to the bag for about an hour.

as for the last one: what fish are in the tank? did you drip acclimate this one? it's also possible you got an already stressed shrimp from the lfs.
