Wait until they find out I only wait about an hour before I add it.

After I mix my 5 gallon I wait like 10 minutes then I add to my sump/fuge tank. I try to use the tub and my whole arm to mix while the bucket is filling up with luke warm water. I try to mix it close or alittle hotter water due to the winter, and colder during the summer.

CAligirl- you are right you should NEVER use hot water from your tap for a saltwater tank, that is just a bad idea, if you must use tap (I don't recommend that either), then use the cold water only and heat it up with a heater.
Sumps are not required, just convienent, if you add water directly to your tank just do so slowly and not on top of corals and fish.
