Why do we have "6-packs" etc...when theres a Photography Forum??

It seems appropriate to post pics in Reef forum for questions and reference...but why the "12-packs".."6-packs" on a regular basis? Isnt that what the Photography Forum was developed for?
Just wondering. These pic pacs are just saying "hey look"..with no topic or subject. Looking at pics is great, I love them. But shouldnt the Reef forum be for reference topics?

I dont look at the photography forum very much. Since I am not a photographer I dont have much interest on the how-tos of taking tank pics. I like having the actual pics of people's tanks and stuff here on this forum where I come to all the time.

I actually like the "6-packs" whether or not they are in an appropriate section. They are fun to look at and give great inspiration.....
I have been on this site for a long time and im not sure but i think that the 6-packs started before the photography section.
Also them being in the reef aquarium section is good because it is where i always go on this forum and i often forget that there is a photography section....

We were posting 6-paks here long before the photo forum opened up...I think it is a great way to share the hobby we enjoy. The two hobbys ...reefkeeping and photography...can go hand in hand...I see no need or reason to segregate them into different forums.:thinking:
