Why does my longnose swim upside down....

In the middle of the night my longnose will sometimes come out from its rock and swim upside down....is this normal? Pretty cool lookin but kind of makes me nervous.

Maybe he has picked up a nasty "crack" habit during the night or something.
Could be just disorientated with the lights out. You may ask in the disease forum about that though. I do recall something being said about that before somewhere. I just cannot recall...
