If my aquaclear 270 GPH powerhead is completely submerged and is not near air bubbles or anything why has it been shooting out a bunch of little bubbles since i got it? it tends to just shoot a ton of them every now and then. anyone know??

do you have a venturi on the powerhead? Most aquaclear's come with one. Did you put it on there? If so, that is why it makes bubbles.

when you put the powerhead in the water tip it upside down so that all the trapped air will get out of it. the bubles are just the ari pockets being puled apart very slowly. i had the same problem until i did this.

I know with mine, bubbles slowly collect on the pre-filter. When they get big enough, they are sucked through the intake and shredded by the pump, firing a cloud of tiny bubbles.
