I just got my first tank (a 30 gallon) about a month ago. :happyfish I was wondering why my sea anenome turns himself inside out? And what is he doing in there?
If your tank is established (6 months+) , if you have the proper water levels, if you have the proper lighting! It would be easier to answer if these facts where posted , oh yea and a pic would be helpfull!
I bought the tank used. It has been established for over a year. We had the water tested a few days ago and everything was good except the nitrite levels were up a little. (because we gest added the sea anenomie and 2 clowns two weeks ago). I can't take a picture because he turned right side out agin. It only took him a few minutes.
Sea anenomes are intresting creatures. Unlike just about every animal you can think of anenomes remove wastes from there bodys in the same place that they consume their food. I forget the actual term for this but thats probably doing, going to the bathroom.
Kinda gross huh!
