Why go blonde?

Just wondering..
With naso tangs reach a certain size, they get these ''strings'' coming from there tail fin. I was wondering though.. is that only with blinde naso tangs? or also the reg. naso?

They are called streamers, and other tangs get them too , i have seen them in the LFS Although i can not afford them !

actually only MALES of naso's get those streamers, doesnt have much to do with age except, the older they get the longer they get and wouldnt appear as juvi's
