aw, rats, we won't be there until the end of the month. Otherwise I could walk down some beer to you.

Which house are you getting? Did you rent through someone personal? My sis inlaw and hubby are looking for a place close to us next summer, preferably a house. They liked one they saw at Imperial Real Estate.
I think it was through someone personal. I just cut the check and stayed out of the rest. eheheeeee
I do know that it is across the street from a pub!!! Yippee!!!! I think before we go I will purchase a blender and find a good pina colada recipe!!!!

It's friggin awesome being able to vacation right in your own backyard huh?? Ya save so much on plane tix and gas.

I wanna camp, but I haven't really started looking to go anywhere yet. I wanna tent camp. Hubby wants the camper. Gas costs to much to pull the camper though. It sucks.
Maybe we can go camping where our camper is being stored somewhere near floral city, lol.

Let me know what you think of the place.
Holy carps, the Pub is our fav. First night, somewhere in the middle and our last night. They actually recognize us

Friendly's is good on trivia night and Villa Gallace is yummy itailan.
Have you tried Philthy Phil's in St Pete?? Food is OK, but view is awesome at sunset. Right off of a little inlet from the water and an upstairs outside seating with usually a band.

Tara, if you are will to spend a little in gas up to the panhandle......Santa Rosa's area has a fantastic/beautiful state park to camp in. The water is to die for. My sis in law and her hubby go every year for almost 2 weeks. Very pristine.
Unfortunately the camp ground in Indian Rocks was shut down for developement
Right on the intercoastal past Ulmerton/688. There is a nice KOA across from the Vets hospital and you are very close to the Maderia Beach area. CANDY KITCHEN ROCKS!!!!!!

Cool! If my memory serves me right you were the one who led me to Bahia Honda too, so I'll check out the Santa Rosa one too!
KOA's are everywhere, and with the tent I stay at those all day long, but it's hard to justify spending the gas money to pull the camper (8 miles/ gallon) and spending 74 bucks a night.
A hotel is definitely cheaper.

But as far as the tent, I'm all for it. Thanks

Yep, Bahia Honda is one of their favs. Especially around Xmas.
here is the site for Topsail.

I hear ya on the gas thing. They have a 30 plus foot 5th wheel that weighs about 14K loaded and a huge duley pick up diesel truck.

Talk about BIG bucks right now. Thats why I asked Wade about the house in Indian Rocks. I think next year they will look for houses.
Here is the park that we visit sometimes, it is very pretty. I am not sure about the camping thing here though.
