why is it doing this?

this anemone has been open for a while now..and all of a sudden it only opens up this much..is there a reason why it does this?..
and this might be a dumb question..but what kind is it?..

i don't know what kind it is, but anemones will shrivel up from time to time to expel waste.

Sure looks like some sort of BTA to me...possibly a rose.....looks healthy.

Looks like a bubble tip, but that color is uhmmm? Hmmm not sure about that. Did you use a flash with that cam, and what type of lighting do you have now, I suspect you have low lighting.

the color of it is a light pink color with darker pink tips..and no i didnt use a flash with the pic..i have 260w pc lighting..but in the pic i just shot it with some NO lighting on
