Why is my clown flicking her tail at the sand?

My GSM has been doing this for the past week now.. same spot.
Is there a reason why she is doing this?

My maroon did the same thing. She cleared it down to bare glass. She spent most of her time there when there was no anemone. I guess she is claiming that as her home. It is aggrivating and a little messy but her happiness is the most important thing right?

My maroon has two spots. She has one right in the front corner and another behind some rocks.

Mine Too!! She is making this one right in front, and she was one that I noticed in the back corner.
So.. she just wants something to host(to call home)?
She sleeps Right next to my heater.. sometimes laying on it.

My Maroon used to do this. I kept pushing the sand back and eventually the maroon gave up. It only did it though when there was a anemone in the tank. That died and it hasn't done it since.

mine has taken host to a coulpe of shrooms, she eats good, but
I guess she just likes playing in the sand. I think that its another way to mark its space.

It's like a dog and a fire hydrant

'This spot is mine! and this one! and this one! this one too!'
