I'm new to the salt water fish hobby so please bare me :)
so after 3 months of cycling and setting up my tank it was time to get my first fish.
I started out with a Ocellaris Clownfish. everything seems to be find except that he is attracted to light and would swim around in only 2 top corners of the tank where there is the most light
i tried covering the corners and he would swim towards the middle front where there is light coming in.
if i turn off all the lights cover up the tank and have a small opening he would swim to the opening where the light shines in
does anyone know why?
at the fish store everything seemed to be ok i saw him swimming around the entire tank.
i have a 12 gallon nano cube, i know its small for a clown but i plan on only having 1 clown and 1 goby. and plan to upgrade to a 24g when they grow up.
btw > he's still very small
thanks !

It's not the light,......in my 225G and my 29G the clowns stay in the top corner.....that is just where they have picked to be there home
NORMAL...no worries
