I started my tank in april and had hundreds of little pods crawling/swimming around on my liverock and sand. After a few additions to my aquarium (fish, shrimp, cleanup crew) i cant find any anymore. I want to get a mandrian and i have no pods in which to feed him. will some show up or what happend to the ones that i had?
thanks

They were food to the stock you added. Mine disapated when I added stock but I also regained more later on when I believe eggs hatched.

what is your tank stocked with as you may have some fish already there that are pod eaters and that would keep you from getting a mandarin

Actually, I'm trying to post a picture of my tank but my digital camera pictures are a little blurry. Thats my first problem. Any suggestions?
My second problem is the pictures I am satisfied with have "too many bytes" What do I do now?
ANY MORE SUGGESTIONS ON POD POPULATION?!?!?!?

Looks like an excellent tank to me. Would your sump serve as a refugium for the pods? If I understand the posts here, you gotta keep the pads away from your livestock. Or culture them in a completely seperate container.
