Why *was* Mr. Tang banned?

Can someone just really quickly tell me what he did wrong, besides lying to impress us about some fake house?
Can someone just give me a quick answer?.. I'll delete the post after I get a reply.

I also notice that all posts of his seemed to be removed. I dont know what all went down, but I think that the old posts had some good info in them. Musta been bad to cause them to remove all trace of him ever being here!

Apparently the info in his posts where straight out of a book, so it wasnt his personal knowledge. Plus he solicited a newsletter amongst other bad things.

he also behaved very juvenilish after being banned; yes, some info he provided was legit; but he was porposely misleading some people into thinking some of his info was based on personal first hand knowledge/experience or he plagerised past post that had been made...

it had nothing to do with the info, it was good info, no matter how you slice it(i'd rather have anyone giving me info from someone else's book, as longa s it is experienced info, than not get any or get bad info), they banned him for soliciting another bb, that was my understanding, and not the newsletter, they allowed that to go for a couplde of months, and never said a word, but when it came to another forum, that was it

Dunno why but info out of a book especially from science journel quoted would always be good info. Even hobby reef books all written info is good. Better than speaking out of your @** and give bad info like often we hear?? JMO

I agree, book info is better than outta your @## info. I now understand why he was banned, the rules here are pretty clear.

it is true that "book info"is good,But when you copy and past the info and post it as your own work that is against copyright laws.This not only puts the culprit at risk of lawsuit,but also the BB...He also LIED,He Posted under multiple names,HE Constantly played childish games,Not to mention soliciting for his own BB and newsletter.These are all things we don't allow here...Just not the kind of member we want here at SWFISH...And even now,he still is comming back to disrupt this BB.Which in itself is against FCC regulations.SWFISH has turned people in for this type of behavior in the past...

Yeah i guess if you cut and paste and say its yours but if you cut and paste say where its from and recommend the book its like a review.Most reef authors don't care but enjoy the hobby and want to share there work. But game playing ect.. is another thing. Waste of time. A good debate no flames is always nice but....
