Typically, mushrooms reach for the light. Try moving them up the tank a bit and see what happens.

They may be stretching towards the light. What kind of lighting and how far down in the tank?

there on the bottom but not on the sand bed.110w pc but they never did this before.I've had these when there were only 3 small frags,and they never reached for the light before.do u think theres too many on the rock and there now fighting for the light?:notsure:

Possible that the lights have aged themselves out of spectrum.
Could be they need a water change.
Could be they are lacking something like iodine (just a guess)
Could be a temprature thing.
Could be a PH thing.
Did you do any testing?

did a water change 3 days ago,all tests r done weekly and everything is tip top shape.just put new lights in 2 weeks ago. temp is the same,ummm tank is in fine working order,but my power head went and i am using an extra hot magnum for the flow with just the buffer filter in it.could that be it?

that there bad? or just getting used to the full spectrum of the lights?but all my other corals r doing excellent
