I've put a BTA in my tank which is doing very good. My clowns both love it.. and hosted it the first day it was in there. The only problem is that the female clown won't let the male in it. She only lets him in when she's scared because i've got my hand in the tank or something. Any other time - she sits in there and chases him off. It has gotten really brutal. They both have slits on their tails and such. They bite and quarrel a lot.
Why is she being such a B****?? When will she let him in? The BTA is plenty big enough for them both..
I know the female can be aggressive and stuff, but it concerns me that the little one comes up and bites her first sometimes and such.

For whatever reason they don't sound like a bonded pair. The reason no fighting and sharing if there is danger (your hand in the tank) is because they are watching their butts and can't fight when they are hidding.
Will they eventually bond ...

They were bonded, but then I stupidly added a new fish and the bigger one started picking on the little one again. That new fish has been gone for awhile, and they started to get along again.. But since I've added the anemone they have been fighting again

Well in the end I guess they just have to work it out and hopefully nobody will die. It sounds like they would rather have anyone, or anything but each other for company.

Its a completely natural thing and she should let him in within a week or maybe 2. She has to show her dominance in her new home.
