My rectangular trigger loves to try to get the snails off the glass. he beats his head against them, spits water at them, jumps out of the water to try to dislodge them. i hear him all the time hitting the cover on the tank, it cracks me up. he has to have a headache by now.
my pixie hawk crackes me up also. besides following each time that i pass the tank, when i handfeed my snowflake eel he keeps the other fish away from my hand by ramming in to them, including my trigger and damsels.

My male clownfish that decided to start "hosting" in my clam. The clam, which would snap shut anytime anything got near it, for some reason didn't slap and crush the clown.

Just happened,
My Harlequin Tusk (4") and Goldbar wrasse (5") just shared a clam. The goldbar ripped it from the shell, Tusk saw it too and both grabbed an end. Just like two dogs with a rope. Tusk was pulling harder, but got a smaller chunk. Was quite funny. Darn no lights in QT else I would have gotten a vid.

lol I really hope you were feeding it a clam. Because there aren't many inverts that will survive those 2.

Yea, frozen clam on the half shell lol. I used to treat my old Tusk to live bait shrimp, and he enjoyed those thoroughly, I can only imagine what these two would do with one.

lfs by me had kids working there. back in the day, it was the place to go for fish.
anyways, they had an 18" red-tail cat in a display tank.
there late one nite, one of the kids fed it a small mouse.
they dangled the mouse at the surface and this beast swam up, grabbed the mouse whole, and dove to the bottom.
it swallowed the mouse, "bit down", and a couple of air bubbles came out of the catfish.
never saw anything like it.

I do oysters on a half shell. That is dangerous because my puffer charges the food, while the other fish try to get their share. It amazes me that my wrasse still has all his fins.

lol, I used to mow this property for my uncle. And whenever we'd see a rat, we'd stick it with a snake stick and throw it in the stock pond. There were these huge catfish that would come up and take down 3 and 4 pound rats without a problem whatsoever.

one thing that is funny to see in my tank is when my lawn mower blenny goes and poops on the hermit crabs. He does this a lot its like he does it on purpose.
every time he does it, its like the hermits know it is going to happen and they hide in their shell! ;)
LOL!!!

Just the other day, I watched my clown relocate a hermit. Apparently, now my clown has his terrotory set up, but lets my CBA goes as it pleases, but not the hermits. He grabbed it by the shell, and moved it across the tank in a corner, and went back. Great stuff
And I had a hermit one time get into a bad situation in between some rocks. He got stuck. I moved the rocks around and he realized he was free, he ran the fastest Ive ever seen a hermit run.
