Will a birds nest coral do good under T-5 8 bulb lighting?

I wanted a birds nest coral i was just wondering if my tek T-5 8 bulb light would handle it? The bulbs are 54 watts each for a total of 432 watts. If i can handle it what kind of flow is required for it?

Pretty much anything will do good under the tek 8 bulb, given it's appropriately sized for your tank, and your tank isn't a mile deep.
Never done a birdsnest, so I can't give details.

It will do great. I have just 2-T5 over my 75gal and my green birdsnest is growing leeps and bounds weekly. I have it set 3/4 to the top of my tank.

Your lights shoud be fine. The following I swiped from somewhere else:
The Birdsnest Coral is also referred to as Seriatopora Bird's Nest, Needle, Finger, or Brush Coral. It is a small polyp stony (SPS) coral with very delicate, thin branches with needle-like tips. It is found in a variety of shades of pink. These are very delicate, but beautiful corals that offer a variety of shape and bright coloration to a reef aquarium.
The Birdsnest Coral needs strong lighting and moderate water current to maintain its bright colors. For continued good health, it will also require the addition of calcium, strontium, and other trace elements to the water.
While it does not require additional food to maintain its health in the reef aquarium, it will feed on micro-plankton and foods designed for filter feeding invertebrates.

Yes, given that they have individual reflectors.

If you already have the T5 on your tank, why are you wondering about VHO?
Sorry I'm just a little confused..

Sorry, I confused you for the OP. VHO are fine for softies and LPS. I wouldn't keep clams or SPS (with the exception of montipora) under them though.

SPS will be fine under VHO depending on brand, how many and size of tank. VHO usually have internal reflectors. T5HO must have reflectors.
