Will a moonlight bother eels?

I have a chainlink eel and iam thinking about getting a moonlight,will the moonlight bother my eel?I herd it will.:notsure:

eels dont like extremely intense light, but that being said, if he's got plenty of LR in the tank then he knows where to go if he doesn't like the light

I am eel sitting for my friend who 2 eels as well, so all four of my eels don't have a problem with moonlights.

i have a sfe and he comes out under the light and isnt bothered ive even seen him come out in the daylight sometimes.

i think my chain likes the moonlights he sits right under the spot, if i move the light he'll move to where the spot is
