In my my 10 gal nano I have
1 percula clownfish
2 camel shrimp
1 blood shrimp
1 cleaner shrimp
1 porcelain crab
2 emerald crabs
5 turbo snails
1 regular sized red hermit crab
5 small blue legged hermit crabs
could i get a Regal Angelfish? Will they eat corals? Will he grow to be too big? Will it eat my shrimp? Would it get alone with my clown perc? I really like them i was curious if i would be able to have it as my 2nd fish because im still in the choosing process.

firstly if this is a joke it aint funny, if not thats fine u just really have to do some research before u buy the fish ur interested in.
this site doesn't tell u wat tank size is appropriate for each fish but these fish are very hard to maintain and need a minimum of at least 100 gallons.
if u were look at adding another fish take a look at some blennies or gobies. u may even be able to get an anenome(if u have the right lighting) and just get a 2nd percula clownfish, but these are just suggestions. good luck with the choosing process.

Whew, glad it's not a joke. But you did the right thing when you asked here. Hope you weren't offended, but there have been some joke posts here that have ruffled many feathers. So, I second what Aidos said about the gobies or blennies, many to chose from and they have great personalities. Good luck, and let us know what you decide on :joy:

Well i've narrowed it down to (probably) either a orange prawn shrimp goby or a royal gramma. It's been about a week and a half since I got my perc. clown (Napolean) and he's doing great so i think I'm gonna add the second fish relatively soon. Still open to other suggestions, a shame I can't get a regal angelfish, or hippo tang.

I'm not sure what you mean by the orange prawn shrimp goby, but if it's one of the smaller shrimp gobies, that would be great. A royal gramma would also be a safe addition. BTW, are you planning on a reef nano, or fish only. also what are your water perameters? Sorry that you can't have any of the tangs or angelfish in there. They really can't be in anything under 30, and that's just for the dwarf angels. If you're thinking tangs/angels, usually nothing under 75-100 gallons. But I'm sure you'll find a lot of joy in keeping what you are thinking in your 10. And read all you can about this hobby, it's very interesting and helpful when stuff comes up. :joy:

THe shrimp or prawn gobies are jumpers so be prepared we lost a beauty of a long filamented prawn goby when she freaked during a tornado a few years back ....
Thanks for asking about fish - prior to purchase - a huge key!

Sorry if i sounded rude, no harm intended, but as Caryn_IA said so people do ask stupid question for a laugh.
those choices sound fantastic, and u may even be able to house all three fish in the one tank, but i may be wrong so ask in another thread or wait till u get a reply. if ya cant hope i didnt get ya hopes up.
i know its tempting to get these wonderful fish and one day u will most likely upgrade the size of ur tank, so when planning for ur next tank, keep those fish in mind and create a tank to suit them.
all the best and let us know what u get and how they go.

i have a 45 gal agressive tank, this 10 gal is for my room. Im pretty set on a royal gramma, i saw pictures of one with a perc and it looked great, if all things go fine with those two for a few months i might consider seeing if three fish would work but i would post about it before doing it. The one great thing so far is that through forums people have been teaching me things.

I'm glad to hear that you are consulting this board. There are so many people here that can help you. I think that a royal gramma would make a great friend to your perc. What do you have in your 45? And did I miss, is this a fish only nano?
Aidos- I hope you don't think I was implying you were rude, I totally understand your reaction, but since he was serious, I didn't want him to get the wrong idea :D

I got a royal gramma today, and he and my perc get along fine. He's already exploring all the ins and outs of the rocks. Its a fish, shrimp, crab, corals, mushrooms, after 6 months i'll get an anemone, nano

please do a lot of reading on anemones in peoples tanks before you get one .... they move and sting and end up as food for powerheads more often than not!!

Yes, please do research if you Really want an anemone. Their lighting requirements may be higher than what you currently have. They are beautiful creatures, and if you want it to live, thrive even, there is lots to learn. I have had my tank for some time, and still do not feel I am up to caring for an anemone, even thou I really want one. This is not to discourage you from having one, just to point you in the learning direction!
