Might try sticking the end of a superglue gel nozzel into where the aptasia withdraws and squirt some in and leave it there for a couple days. If you don't see the aptasia come out beside it from a different hole chances are you embedded it in the now hardened superglue and once you remove it the anemone will come out with it.
Clever.....

I wonder if the same could be held true if you used some of the 2 part epoxy and shoved in/covered the aptasia and left it on there?

after comparing mine to pics i am wondering if this is even aiptasia. is all aiptasia brown? Mine is white.
Posting pics of what you have would certainly help. White may possibly be a feather duster which is harmless.

Boil some ro/di and SLOWLY inject the pest for around 20 seconds...you will need a 60 cc syringe and needle to acomplish this....Works EVERY time for me. My .02 cents.

peppermint shrimp!
They will leave all my corals alone, but theyve taken care of my aiptasia in just a day or two. it was like an incredible magic trick. i got nervous when he went near my corals, but he ate all the aiptasia around it and didnt touch anything else.,
it was wonderful
