I have some chaeto in my fuge that is loaded with little brittle stars. I want to switch some of the chaeto out and put it in my tank, but will fish eat the brittles?
I have a yellow tang, flame angel, a clown, a blackcap basslet, and a chromis.
The other day I saw a large puffer and a large foxface taking huge chunks out of a 7-8in brittle star at the LFS... It was pretty sad, ppl were laughing at it. I didnt think it was funny, the poor star was doing all it could to get away in a hurry. Two of its legs were reduced to nubs; not cool.
Point is: Things do eat them.

I'm sure they are brittles. But sorry, I am not looking to trade any right now. I'm trying to get a ton of them so I can put some in my other two tanks.
