I have a BTA and it just moved right next to a 2 inch tall aptasia and the current pushes them together. Does anyone think it will kill my BTA?

i would get rid of the aptaisia even if it isnt hurting the anemone. they will overgrow the tank and kill or injure fish and coral. try using joe's juice, boiling water or boiling joe's juice with a syringe.

Unlikely it will kill it, at least not right away. The thing to watch for is a negative reaction from the anemone, like contraction or leisons right at the potential sting site.
Ric's right though, get rid of the aiptasia. Sometimes people think they don't look so bad and try to keep them, but once they get a foothold they can be pretty tricky to get rid of.

try mixing kalkwasser into a watery paste solution and put into a shringe, it burns the anemone.

I had a pretty bad aiptasia problem. 2 weeks ago I used Joe Juice the stuff is amazing. It kills the aiptasia right away. I got rid of like 80% of them the first day, and every now and then when I see one I just inject it an it's gone in seconds.

well I bought a couple peppermint shrimp on the 21st and I didn't think they were eating any aptasia. I checked this morning and just about all the small ones were gone and the largest one had all the tenacals missing, so I think the shrimp are taking care of my problem. Thanks for all the tips.
