raise and lower your salinity/S.G.(they are directly proportional) very slowly,like over a couple of days not in 5 minutes. For instance replace your evaporation water with saltwater for a day or two and see how it moves up. These creatures are very sensitive to change so make changes slowly,only bad things happen fast.
