Will Copper hurt my KOLE?

I just bought my Kole and have him in the qt with Copper. I was reading that Copper could hurt them. He has been in there for 4 days. Should I keep treating him or place him in my reef? He doesn't appear to have ich.

short term exposure wont hurt a healthy tang BUT Cupramine is by far the safest form and hardest to overdose. over exposure or overdose naturally will be toxic to the tang (or any other fish). If you are asking are tangs more sensitive than other typical fish to copper treatment, yes they are supposedly so but I have treated two with no problems.
