i know this will not work but ima ask anyways. i have had a damsle in my take for the cycle about two-three weeks and i have two per clowns comin tomorrow from swf.com and i was wondering if their was anyway i could keep the damsle he is very purddy. lol

maybe, but at this point he has claimed the whole tank as his, so the chances are good he is just going to kick the crap out of your clowns. If you want a damsel establish your tank get all your livestock in and add the damsel a few weeks after all the fish you want to add are already in there. even then its no gaurantee, but it stands a better chance than damsel first.

lol. thats what i figured but hey thats what this form is for also what is a really cool fish i can add with my cleaner crew off this site and my two clowns? i would want somthing cheep easy and sweet lol.

I don't know. Clowns and damsels are in the same family (i think). I had a few yellowtails and added my false percs 3 weeks later and they are one big happy family...maybe I was just lucky.

when i acclimate them and they are sitting their in their bags chillin in the water and the damsle doesnt seem to care could this be a sign that he will accept them or is their anything i should look for ecept my green net of death lol. ill take him back to the fish store and get my money back

My yellowtail was in the tank for over 3 years when I added my Ocellaris pair last year and they get along just fine. So much so, that, the yellowtail even immitates them and does the little twitching dance they do with them.
