Will Kent dKH Super Buffer raise pH too?

I need to raise my dKH (8) but mu pH is fine (8.2) Will Kent dKH Super Buffer raise them both, or just the dKH?
ALso, please recommend some beginner corals and will adding a Flame Angel overload my system. (see info below0

I had to do this this morning too. I just used baking soda (sodium bicarbonate). I mixed some in a cup and added to tank very slowly, monitoring corals for negative reactions (I saw one negative reaction because at one point I was adding to the tank too fast). Sodium bicarbonate will not raise your pH.

I have used probuffer by kent and highly reccomend it. It is supposed to just control the PH so add it a little at a time and monitor the ph and you should be fine. As far as the flame angle you should be fine with your current bioload.
