I have a 9 month old Scooter Blenny and wanted to introduce a Mandarin Dragonet - Green into the tank. Will they be get along?
I have a 46g bow front aquarium.
Thanks for your help.

In my opinion they will just compete for the same food....the Mandarin eats lots and lots of pods, as does the scooter....I think a 46G would not be able to sustain their pod needs

But just because he will eat frozen, doesn't mean he's not going to eat the pods. He will still compete with the mandy. Now if you get both to eat frozen well..... all will be good.

If you were to seed your tank weekly with pods, you may be able to get away with both, but that will be VERY expensive...my LFS sells TiggerPods for $24.95/bottle of 1000 (which would take very little time for both of those fish to devour). If you take that $24.95 and multiply it by 52 weeks...you are looking at over $1200....for fish food!

You could culture your own in a separate vessel. The Tigriopus califoricus do not reproduce well in the summer time because of the heat.
