the pats are going to hold off now..its crunch time and they are only down a few...they were just trying to fool everyone that the g-man could hang with them

but, as with most games with the giants, the darn penalties didn't help them either. well, a couple did, but gimme a break on some of them...

WOAH...WOAH...WOAH... Make history??? How can a bunch of cheating, no good patriots make history? Yes they went undefeated BIG DEAL... They still need to win the Super Bowl to have a shot at making history.

Hats off to the Patriots.....it will be that much sweeter when the Colts beat them in the playoffs......
Oh, and Manning had the TD record quicker than Tom and sat out almost the entire last two games 04.

Absolutely.....Marino is still the better single season statistical QB in my book.

Quarterbacks should not be measured by Super Bowls......a Championship is a team accomplishment.
The fact that Marino never won a Superbowl does not take away any of his greatness....

but you cant say that it took brady to reach the single season td record slower than manning....dont get me wrong peyton is a great qb but of course it is going to take the next person after manning to set it because he has to throw more than manning to set the record....

that is true..and it always falls on the qb when the big game isnt won but in fact like you said it takes the whole team...the year the steelers won they were saying peyton didnt do enough to win the game but it wasnt all his fault the defense was not up to par and big ben and fast willie parker played one heck of a game...so judgeing qb's by titles isnt really fair

TX Im not saying that its because he didnt make it to a super bowl. You can just tell by stats he got hurt a couple of times near the end of the career and he really wasnt that great.
I respect him and look up to him as the greatest QB.

Manning only played the first offensive series of the last game of the 04 season. Before that, he was pulled early in the 4th quarter in several games. Tom was actively going for that record and played every second he could to get it.
It also took Brady 60 more passes than Manning to get to 49 and one game longer.
As for Moss, Jerry Rice had 22 TDs in a 12 game season (shortened by strike).
But a season record is a season record and Moss and Brady own the TD records.

i agree...all the players are good players and i am not saying brady is better than manning or manning is better than brady both of them are crazy good...and if there was any possible way they could play in the super bowl i think it would be a better game than we seen in the regular season but it will never happen...but anyway like you said a record is a record...no matter how long it takes to get there

youre wrong bro... its the first time that a team has gone 16 - 0 in the regular season since the league added two games... not only that they broke 3 other records... Single Season Scoring for a Team, Most TD Passes Thrown by a QB (50) and Most TD Receptions (23)...
although the Giants rolled over in the 4th it was a good game to watch...

Yes I know that. But who says that the dolphins would of one the other 2 if they were added. The Patriots get so much out of this yet the Dolphins won the playoffs and the superbowl. The Patriots arent yet there bro.

If you ask me it don't matter anyway if they don't win the super bowl because the dolphins won all the games and super bowl.
