Will these fish go in a 150?

purple tang, naso tang, spiny box puffer, minatus grouper, queen angel, and huma huma... or do you reccomend dropping one for a Harlequin Tusk?(sp.)
IMO you're still going overboard. As blizz said all of these fish get pretty big. Do you already have the tank? If not, you should probably just bite the bullet and go bigger if these are the fish that truly interest you. Sounds like you have your heart set on a large angel, grouper, trigger, puffer, and one or more tangs; if that's the case you might want to look at tanks in the 240-300 gallon range. The added size will give you the flexibility you need to care for these animals properly.
But to answer your question, yes I would drop one or more of those fishes in favor of the Tusk. Purple tang, Naso Tang, Spiny box, and the Tusk might make for a nice community of fish in a 150.

I think it's still a little bit much, from a bioload perspective those are some heavy eaters. Also the Naso tang gets up to about 18" which means at full size, he would barely be able to turn around. I have a 150 also and want a Naso as well but, I recently saw one full grown in a 535 gallon tank and it looked about the right size. They are extremely active. The porc puffer also gets large but I think he would do alright because they aren't as active.
Putting a 18" fish in a 4' x 2 box will not make them happy.
a 150 is usually 6' long, mine is.

i was trying to make a point that what ever size BOX you put a large fish in they are not going to be Truley happy.

What about the Foxface, the Hogfish, the Purple Tang, and the Huma or Tusk and maybe one more from your list?

Very true, I have yet to see an aquarium fish dance around or have a party.
I thought a 150 was a decent sized tank until I started trying to get a stock list together. Today I looked at a starry puffer, cool except they can get 40" long. If it got upset and puffed up, it would bust my aquarium.

Now that sounds good. Then maybe a pair of large clowns like clarkiis or something. That would make a good list.

your problem fish will be the clown trig, sailfin, and the puffer. Why? first hand experience i had. I kept those three together with other fish in my tank and it was like gangland in there. The clown trig virtually scared my puffer to death and eventually ate at him. The sailfin annoyed both the trigger and puffer. Puffer did his part by just being himself unfortunately. Everything else will be fine. X out the three mentioned above. Or keep the sailfin only.
