will this light work with my 55 gal?

I hate to say it but.......I bought some cheap p.c. bulbs for my orbit and after 6 months I got terrible algae problems do to the spectrum loss. I still run p.c. bulbs on my 29, but I honestly would go with m.h. or t-5 on your tank size as the p.c bulbs will run more (you'l need four at 30 bucks a pop) every ten months which is still more than replacing m.h. bulb which has better lighting imo which will last a few months longer? Just my two cents.....good luck!
