i am setting up my new tank and was wondering if these sump plans will work or if things need to be moved. the sump is 55g and fuge is 20g and the tank is 110g. the drain from the tank will also split off into the fuge(not Pictured).

I don't get why you have a seperate fuge when you have a chamber for LR in your sump? That is acting as a fuge in itself.
I am assuming that you are gravity feeding from your fuge to the sump?
Other than that, the system looks fine.

First off you should have your skimer after your refugium. The way you have it now, the skimmer will take all the nutrients out of the water and starve the refugium. I would remove the second and third baffles and make that chamber larger and place the liverock and the refugium in that same chamber. I would then put the skimmer in the next chamber and the return pump in the very last chamber. Your heater can be put in with either the skimmer or return pump, wherever it fits.

You could also just split the inflow pipe so half goes to skimmer chamber and half goes to refugium chamber.
