Will this work?

I currently have a 125 g tank.I have a panther grouper,a niger trigger,and 3 damsels.I already know this size tank won't last long.Thats why I am in the process of building a 300 g tank.My question is,once that tank is established,will a Marine Betta Grouper get along with the panther?My lfs has one that has been there for 2 months and I have been visiting.Also,what other kinds of triggers would be niger friendly?I love the looks of clowns.One more question.Would a lion fit into this picture?Thanks for the advice in advance!!!

The niger trigger might kill the lion; a clown trigger definitely would. Triggers are normally lionfish killers. There are exceptions, of course, but generally speaking its not a good mix.
Not sure about your grouper questions.

i would say a pink tail or hawaiian black trigger would do well
I would not do a sea betta in an agressive setting
they dont have a mean side to them and they dont stand up against agressive tank maits

I would say no to any grouper to be honest. The panther is very cute when smaller but my LFS has one that is 12-14" long and he is a disgusting looking fish. He is in good health too.

I do recomend checking out the archives and look through the thread about what fish should be avoided. Just my opinion though, Good luck.
