I just have a question or two for some of you who are a bit older than me/more knowledgeable than I. I have been reading about Ayers as much as I can find and it seems to me like he was a radical, then went into hiding, then gave himself up.
Did he serve time? Was he ever convicted of anything?
Did he actually do any of the bombings? Or was he just the "ring leader"?
Was anybody hurt? Seems to me the point of terrorism is to surprise people with brutal attacks to invoke terror. If the bombings were "telegraphed" and no one hurt, does it actually fit the description of terror?
Anything else you can tell me about him would be cool. I'm NOT concerned with him and Obama or anything like that, but he has been brought up a lot, and honestly I had never heard of him before the political season.
