William Ayers....

I just have a question or two for some of you who are a bit older than me/more knowledgeable than I. I have been reading about Ayers as much as I can find and it seems to me like he was a radical, then went into hiding, then gave himself up.
Did he serve time? Was he ever convicted of anything?
Did he actually do any of the bombings? Or was he just the "ring leader"?
Was anybody hurt? Seems to me the point of terrorism is to surprise people with brutal attacks to invoke terror. If the bombings were "telegraphed" and no one hurt, does it actually fit the description of terror?
Anything else you can tell me about him would be cool. I'm NOT concerned with him and Obama or anything like that, but he has been brought up a lot, and honestly I had never heard of him before the political season.

The charges against Ayers were thrown out after the FBI admitted they used a illegal wiretap. Ayers has been quoted as saying he was guilty as sin and free as a bird. In 2001 he said he didn't regret what they had done and wished they had done more. There were 2 or 3 people killed in the bombings and 3 of the weathermen when a bomb full of screws and nails they planned to set at a military base went off by accident in their apartment. Ayers wife who was also part of the group did time.

Ahh another racist liberal. Look who Obama runs around with. The list is lengthy and shows a profound lack of common sense.
Ayers
Wright
Fleager
Resko
It also shows his roots in radical leftism, and marxism.

So work hard and pay more. Live the American dream and Obama will punish you like the good socialist he is.

Yep, fruit of the poison tree. Any evidence they gather as the result of an unauthorized wiretap gets chucked out.

From what I understand, he got off on a procedural problem. Some of his people in the group he founded went to jail, and Clinton pardoned them, in his last few days in office. Then he came out after the statute of limitations and admitted to it.

I don't think they are trying to tie him to the events but to the person that perpetrated them.

as far as people being killed... I believe that bombings that were connected to the group... that no one was killed accept for the three whom were in the group who accidently killed themselves...
I think you may be refering to the individuals or police officers that were killed after the group disbanded and were on the run as a result of a Brinks truck being robbed.

because these are the people who have shaped Obama's life, given him his values, and supported his political aspirations. In short Obama is an amalgamation of all these people. They represent exactly the opposite of the American dream.

Because, of actions obama has done with the guy when he was running for office, while juxtaposed with things the terrorist has said...

So it's OK as long as no one gets killed? No remorse, no apology, the guys hates America, he hates the Constitution and he absolutely hate capitalism.
