Thats why they're called wisdom teeth, when they are pulled it smarts.

I kill me.
I got all 4 yanked on the same day when I was 25. It isn't that bad.

Yeah mine weren't that bad either; no pain and very little if any selling. I do know of a few people who were in a lot of pain or got dry sockets.
The gas is something else

You guys crack me up... My 4 teeth grew in sideways and had to be cut out when I was 16. It wasn't even that bad. Now, a tonsilectomy is one of the worst things I've ever been through. Had that done about 4 years ago. Took me the whole 6 weeks to recover before I could really eat anything that remotely looked like food. I lost like 20lbs! Worst diet ever. lol You'll be fine on getting you're wisdom teeth removed.

I had all four of mine cut out when i was in the 7th grade and it was NOT fun

When my sister had her tonsils taken out at age 4 she was eating chips an hour after she woke up

Had all 4 of mine pulled a few years ago. Doesn't hurt abit (besides looking at a puffy face in the mirror
).

I had two of mine pulled awhile back. I didn't get any funny gas; I just got a novocaine shot. Not that bad at all.

2 top ones pulled out. That part wasn't bad. The bad part was "mad-scientist" dentist I went to that climbed up on my chest with his knees for leverage.

I had all 4 removed when I was 17. I had no problems with pain and one of the teeth had been split in 3 pieces because it was about to push the next tooth up. No swelling... no fever, nothing.

I guess I am just lucky? I am 27, never had my tonsils removed and my wisdom teeth never developed. They are not even buds underneath the gums in xrays. :
