Is QB rating the sole determinant of how good a QB is now? I guess Kyle Orton is better than Romo? And Matt Schaub is better than Tom Brady and Philip Rivers?

No, which is the reason I included the extra touchdowns Palmers has also offset by the almost equal amount of interceptions.
A great QB will have twice as many touchdowns as they do interceptions.
Romo= 9 TDs to 4 interceptions. 3 of which came in one game....causing one loss.
Palmer=13 Tds to 7 INT. He got 5 of those TDs in one game....the other games he is pretty much mediocre. He has had one good game this year and the rest were average. He hasn't even broke the 300 yard mark yet.

I'm curious where you would rank Romo? I probably have him higher than you would think I would....1. Peyton 2. Brees 3. Brady 4. Rivers 5. Eli 6. Warner 7. McNabb 8. Favre 9. Palmer 10. Big Ben 11. Romo 12. Cutler 13. Flacco. 14. Orton 15. Hasselbeck 16. Ryan
I have Ben lower than most would I suppose, perhaps Ryan too....My rating is not based at all on age, but on current ability.
