yea its cured but has life on it plants and spounges its georgeous rock i was very impressed again i cany say where i got it from. i got the LS from here and it was very nice! i think i would like more but my sand bed is already over 5 inches. im in no hurry at all to add anything to it, im going to do it right, but may add clean up crew in a wekk if it tests good

What is the pH level in your tank? Did you test it?
It should be around 8.2 or 8.3 optimally. If it is lower then that, then dependant on how low it is, it may take more then a day or two to get the pH up to where it needs to be.
The snails...that was totally just from personal experience. I always found them to be very sensitive. Plus hermits are cheaper :D

yup my ph was just a little below 8 maby 7.9is area. i am using aragonite and am going to get the ph buffer tomorrow. what kind of food am i going to need for all that??? mainly the jawfish.

I respectifully disagree with this. Adding plant life right from the start will remove ammonia, nitrates and phosphates and prevent the undisarable algaes from ever establishing themselves. Of course it is IMO but if you want references email me at beaslbob@aol.com
