I think they are ugly and I don't believe they are considered real eels.

i think they are alright but they come no where as close as a moray they are some much better and bigger looking ***)

there a good fish to have and have great eye sight unlike morays. I have had many of them in the past.

i have one mine is a female. she has been laying eggs in my tank for about 9 months now. she about 18 inches long now.
